Vertex Standard has released a Universal Energy (UNI) battery for Intrinsically Safe radios, expanding their revolutionary Universal Energy system to more of their models. The UNI battery system maximizes efficiency by using a single battery and charger for multiple radio series, making Vertex Standard radios even more convenient for customers, while not increasing their cost.

The FNB-V129LIIS battery is the newest UNI battery to be released and is compatible with the VX-820, VX-920, VX-P820, and VX-P920 Series two way radios.

The FNB-V129LIIS is a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery pack and meets the intrinsically safe certification for Class I, Class II, Class III, Division 1, and Groups C-G, T3C.

The compatible chargers for the the FNB-V129LIIS battery are the VAC-UNI and the VAC-6058.
